Fantastic fishing may be found in southwest Florida. Our guides are true experts who have participated in and won several fishing competitions in the region. They are aware of the ideal tides to search for, where the fish are biting, and when the fishing season is. Depending on where we think the fish are biting the best, we’ll go a little offshore or stay close to shore.

Tarpon

Season: April – August
About This Fish: Tarpon will put up a fight and require a fair amount of strength to reel in. They are a catch and release fish, meaning you won’t be able to take this fish home and eat it.

About This Fish: Snapper is known to be one of the tastiest fish in the Gulf. They travel in larger schools but can be rather hard to find.

About This Fish: Snooks really love warm water and are typically found inshore. They are great fish to take home and eat after a long day of fishing.

About This Fish: Sheepshead are typically found around structures and deep in the water. Although they don’t provide much meat, they are still great fish to eat.

About This Fish: Varies species of shark can be found in Southwest Florida waters. They aren’t able to be kept, but they are still a lot of fun to catch.

Spotted Sea Trout

Avg Weight: 8 pounds
Season: All year round
About This Fish: Spotted Sea Trout prefer the shallow, sea grass areas of Florida. They are nice white flaky fish to eat.

Season: November – March
About This Fish:
Cobia prefer the deeper water and love to hang around old structures. They are very meaty fish, with very little bone structure making them an ideal meal.

Permit

Avg Weight: 17 pounds
Season: April – October
About This Fish: Permit can be some of the hardest fish to catch, they are quick and feisty. Regardless of how hard they are to catch, they are very tasty fish and well worth the fight.
